Legoland and Sea World, Christmas Vacation!

Alexander has been busy building his legos.

Cookie dough in the waffle maker is a mess...
On our way to San Diego for Legoland and Sea World.  We returned in time for the winter storm and snow in Beaumont on New Year's Eve.

 Perfect weather in Legoland

The actual Lego Movie set is at Legoland!

 Sledding!

BJs in La Jolla for dinner with gift cards.  Then the San Diego Temple at sunset to watch the Christmas lights turn on.

We stayed at a Best Western near Sea World.  With my 20% off coupon and Living Social Deal, we stayed for $50 for the night (regular $199/night there).  Free wifi, parking, and hot continental breakfast.
Sea World didn't open until 10am, and out kids were up at 5:30am, so we toured USD campus (empty with all on vacation) after breakfast.  Beautiful views!

Fun photos at Sea World!  Freezing day there (50's- cold for San Diego)  We stayed until it started raining in the afternoon.  We had not slept well and were all completely exhausted, and Alexander just wanted to be home playing with his Legos.  It was a long day...  But we survived!  Great photos for memories...

Isabella was very tired, sensitive, and emotional.  Many tears were randomly shed on vacation.

We made it back in time for snow on Tuesday night (day before New Year's Eve) for lots of snow in Beaumont.  Only a little stuck, but the local mountains are all dusted in white.  Gorgeous!

Do you want to build a snowman?

Kinder photos from both kids with Mrs. Coppage...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  This is the last blog post of 2014!
