Here are some cute photos of our little ones...
We enjoyed a family vacation trip to the beach with Grandpa and Grandma (Gordon and Leslie Johnson) during the first week of September. Unfortunately Daddy had to work all week, so it was just the 5 of us! We spent the week at the grandparent's timeshare in Capistrano Beach. We went to the tidepools, Alexander took his first train ride to Oceanside, we played in the swimming pool and beach daily, and we had a lot of memories to share! We visited the Mission in San Juan Capistrano and even went for bike rides. We spent a day with Uncle Marc and Aunt Shay at their lake in Mission Viejo.
When do I get to use the potty?
Who are you lookin' at?
Storm clouds heading into Beaumont from the mountains. Our home kept us safe and warm.
Proud to be with my Papa.
I love ice cream!
More lotion please, Mommy.
Teamwork helps Tyler and Alexander build a sandcastle at the lake.
Mommy holding baby Kayla. Isabella cried a lot when she saw this. A little jealous...

The train goes so fast!
"This is where we are on the map, Mommy."
Mommy and Alexander took the Amtrak train down to Oceanside for the experience of riding the train.
Alexander is the train captain! He had the whole train to himself.
Alexander loved the petting zoo on his day out with Mommy.
Alexander wanted food for the goats, but this aggressive goat ate the food we bought before we could get it out of the machine! Survival of the fittest.
A pregnant goat at the petting zoo in San Juan Capistrano (by the train station). Looks uncomfortable...
Isabella and her Papa.
Isabella helps Aunt Shaylyn feed baby Kaylie.
Beach week with the grandkids- Brinley, baby Kaylie, Braden, Alexander, Isabella, and Tyler (Marc and Shay came down to visit one evening).
Isabella is looking worried... Alexander and Tyler are encroaching on her space.
Say cheese!
Grandma Teresa and her 4 grandkids- James, age 6, Marissa, age 1, Alexander, age 3, and Isabella, age 1.
Alexander's first day of preschool... too cute!
Isabella loves storytime at the library. Mommy loves to dress Isabella up for photos!
Alexander and Isabella ride the kids Jeep together outside. Adorable! This lovely toy has caused great pains in Mommy's back (she had to visit a chiropractor for the first time in her life after lifting it one too many times), and caused Daddy tendinitis in his right arm. But we still love seeing you two have fun.
Alexander loves to take the school bus to and from school each day. He attends the Riverside County Preschool held at Brookside Elementary School daily 8:45-12:45am. He comes home each day signing the songs he learned and sharing fun stories. We are so proud of you Alexander! (We just need to work on a positive action instead of biting, hitting, and kicking while at school and in nursery- he doesn't handle frustration well...).
Alexander helps to make Daddy's 30th Birthday cake. Happy Birthday Michael! Mommy made yummy chicken in the crock pot.
Mommy teaches American Sign Language to families in Beaumont through Parent Academy and the Adult School. They learned about the foods we eat and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The kids made handprint butterflies. Such fun! Little Ones Love 2 Sign!
Just like Alexander, Isabella loves to play with Tupperware.

A-Men!
Ha ha! Funny story of the morning. My 3 year old, Alexander was looking at a flashcard with a picture of 3 men in suits. He used to call it Daddy. Now he can read letters, and he was spelling Daddy "m-e-n." I clarified that Daddy is a man, and more than one man is men. He kept saying "men, m-e-n." Then he had his Ah ha! moment. He then said with enthusiasm, "Heavenly Father, thankful for this beautiful day, in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!" Too cute! He now thinks men and amen are some how connected. Out of the mouth of babes...
