Happy 2nd Birthday Isabella Photos 2011
We went to Disneyland on May 12, 2011, Isabella's 2nd Birthday. Kaylie and Abbie joined us, as well as Robin's parents. We celebrate Robin's bday (April 25) and Kaylie's 14th bday (May16).

Yummy smoothie! Rainforest Cafe celebration. Yummers
Alexander got a random 24hr fever that day and was pale and miserable. It was a loooonnng day. Bella had fun! Mommy had to carry Alexander a good portion of the day because he wasn't feeling well. Wore me out!
The birthday girls!
Diver in the tank in Rainforest Cafe, Downtown Disney. I enjoyed using my $25 birthday reward and $25 welcome reward for lunch (Landry's rewards card).
Free ice cream for birthday girls. Both kids got $0.99 kids meals for reading 20 min a day for a month. Well done kiddos!

After our ASL class one day, Kaylie and Robin made Monte Cristo Sandwiches. They tasted just like the $25 ones from the Blue Bayou in Disneyland. We made 3 sandwiches for around $5. We used my homemade freezer strawberry jam and powdered sugar to decorate them.
Michael's cousin Angie got us free passes to Legoland! Thank you Angie! Alexander LOVED the place. We went on a Friday so it wasn't crowded. It was our first visit.
Prince Charming on a cell phone!
Luckily both kids were tall enough for almost all of the rides. With her shoes on, Isabella hit the 36" mark (she is only 34.5" tall).
Isabella and Mommy were on all these rides, too, but Mommy had the camera.
At each ride they had a cool wait area where the kids could play with legos while a adult from the group waited in line. Smart...
The miniature Legoland minis.
Michael had carne asada nachos for lunch. Robin had the hot fudge lava cake with ice cream. Sweet! It was delicious!
Weeee! Down the slide they go. The weather was perfect. Carlsbad, low 70 degrees.
Isabella waited in line for a long time for Alexander to ride the horse. You had to be 4 years old to ride (he looks like a 4yr old, right???).
Choo choo ride in little toddler land.
Perfect size playground for our kids.
Our free tickets included the waterpark (closed that day) and the aquarium.
We found a fun kitchen for the kids at a yard sale. All of the food and kitchen toys included. Only $40! They used it outside so it was dirty and had some bugs, so we decided to also keep it as an outside toys. Luckily it is in the shade the majority of the day.
Alexander is finally back on his bike he got from Christmas. He fell down in December, and was too scared to get back up until May! Now it is the first thing he wants to do everyday when he gets home from school.

Bookstore tour of the Frugal Frigate with Moms Club. We were the only ones who showed up out of the 10 moms who originally signed up. The kids loved it and I found 2 new books to read. The Sisters Grimm and Eon. I am currently finishing up the Looking Glass Wars Trilogy. The sequel to The Tiger's Curse comes out soon...

After the bookstore, we visited Great Grandma Bobik in Redlands.
We used the gift card from Aunt Evelyn and Grandma Iottini to buy a personalized Minnie Mouse towel for Isabella, cute Minnie Mouse sunglasses, and 2 shirts.
We used our Disney rewards dollars to get Alexander 2 Toy Story shirts, new sunglasses, and a Toy story towel.
Too cool for school!

Every week I teach a Signing Time lesson to Alexander's class. This week Kaylie came with me to teach our last lesson of the year, Zoo Animals. Then we went outside and played parachute games, then ate cookies and cupcakes.
We will miss our weekly ritual of visiting Alexander's preschool class. Isabella always enjoyed the visits.
First 5 California sent Alexander a brand new Toy Story toothbrush in the mail along with other free dental goodies. Thanks!
He asked me to take these pictures. Ha ha!
Chicken pasta salad. Yummy!
