Cowboy Bible Camp!!!

We decided to be adventurous this summer and try out a Bible Camp for the first time with our kiddos.  We saw the above ad in our local newspaper and figured Alexander could give it a try.  After hearing how much fun he had the first day, Isabella insisted on joining brother at Cowboy Camp!  I never imagined she'd be happy and content to leave Mommy and Daddy with non family for 3 hours a day, but she did and she loved it!  Michael and I were even able to go out on a date during one of those days.  Nice a relaxing time for us.  The kids learned songs, made new friends, did a dance (check out the video in here- priceless!!!), rode a horse, and more.  On the last day they all performed for the parents and we enjoyed a BBQ together.  Great opportunity to interact with members of the community outside of our own faith.

Not sure how I feel about the handprints on the horse... He is cleaned off now.

A must see video!  I choose to obey!  The camp focused in on 4 scriptures from the Bible that Jesus taught to others.  The older kids recited a scripture, then each age group performed a song and dance related to the scripture.  So cute!

 Yummy BBQ after their performance.

Lots of fun arts and crafts!  Both kids rode the pony!!!  VBS stands for Vacation Bible School.
